MODIS Subsetting and Visualization tool: Bringing time-series satellite-based land data to the field scientist

The goal of the MODIS Land Product Subsets project is to provide summaries of selected MODIS Land Products for the community to use for validation of models and remote-sensing products and to characterize field sites. MODIS subsets are provided in ASCII and in GIS image format for selected field sites and for any location on the globe. Various visualization tools are also available to help understand spatial and temporal variability and site characteristics. http://daac.ornl.gov/MODIS/modis.html
